The Greens - still just a party of protest?

The Australian Greens are still struggling to pitch themselves to the Australian people as a serious option to govern.

While they have maintained their integrity over their core issues around the environment, asylum seekers and marriage equality, their economic policies are still not taken seriously enough by the electorate.

And it doesn't help when the NSW Greens start to show the sort of splits and disagreements usually found in the major parties.

Is Richard di Natale the right man to move the party forward to the next level already reached in countries like Germany, where the Greens are governing in many states in coalitions with parties from both the left and the right.
